Air Clampett

Former BYU All-American golfer Bobby Clampett is a noted golfer and broadcaster, but he his greatest accomplishment may be in another area.
A licensed pilot, he has flown some 4,000 hours. As he put it, ‘more hours than most commercial pilots.’
That came in handy last Sunday when he was flying with his father in law.
‘He had a heart attack on board,’ said Clampett.
Clampett landed the plane in Charleston, W.V., where ambulances were waiting.
Clampett said on Wednesday that his father was still in the hospital recovering.
