An Inauspicious Start

If you think it’s hard believing former BYU golfer Bobby Clampett is nearing the age to play on the Champions Tour, consider this: He has a son who is playing college golf.
Clampett’s son Daniel is a freshman at Appalachian State. But his career didn’t exactly start off as spectacularly as his father’s.
‘He got the flu the first day of qualifying,’ said Bobby. ‘He shot a 78, so he was very disappointed.’
