Worst Villain — Henderson or Hall?

I’ve heard people call Utah guard Marshall Henderson’s backhand slap at BYU’s Jackson Emery a dirty play. I’ve also heard it called an Academy Award acting job by Emery.

I thought it was both.

Henderson pulled a cheap move by letting himself lose control. Emery fell over as though he’d been hit by a sack of cement.

The one-game suspension for Henderson was appropriate.

In a sense, what Henderson did was considerably worse than what Max Hall did. Hall was vilified for comments about hating all things Utah after the annual rivalry football game. But he didn’t hit anyone. His damage was emotional, not physical.

Henderson could have inflicted physical damage.

There is another key difference between the situations, though. Henderson’s emotional outburst was a move you might expect from a freshman. Hall was a senior.

Which do you think was worse form, Hall’s verbal assault or Henderson’s swipe at Emery?
