Mad Mac is Back
Remember back when Jim McMahon was a big deal, a star both on the field and in commercials and videos?
Who could forget the Super Bowl Shuffle?
McMahon has done quite a few endorsements over the years. His latest is the one that ran during the Super Bowl, promoting Boost Mobile.
A lesser-known one, from recent years, is the one for Honda scooters.
He’s now in the news for a different venture. Mad Mac was named owner of the Chicago Slaughter, a Continental Indoor Football League team, last week.
For the record, he’s still wearing his trademark sunglasses. Check out this video of the introductory press conference:
Why this interests me, I don’t know, except that I covered McMahon and have always been entertained by him. What do you think? Is he still an edgy ground-breaker or should he just fade into advertising and football history?
