C.J. Miles: Home is different story
News flash: The Jazz think they’re better at home — which they are.
Counting the post-season, the Jazz are 35-9 at home, this year, 21-20 on the road. Thus, their return to ESA for Saturday’s second-round game against Los Angeles is being heralded as a second chance. (OK, not much of a chance. The Lakers are 40-1 when leading playoff series 2-0).
“It’s a big difference, when we play so well here,” said forward C.J. Miles. “Guys shoot the ball well. You hate to say it, but that’s how it goes. You get in your comfort zone.”
Miles added that the closeness of the games in L.A. bodes well for the Jazz.
“We feel like being in the games on their floor, why can’t we win on our floor?”
No saying they can’t. Trouble for the Jazz is, the Lakers have home court advantage, so at some point, Utah has to win in L.A. or go home.
