Pac-10 should move quickly
It’s been out there for a week, but still, but San Jose Mercury News sports writer Jon Wilner’s take on the Pac-10 expansion is worth reviewing before we continue.
It still doesn’t look good for BYU to move to the Pac-10.
As for Utah, I’m starting to think the Pac-10 better get going and make a decision pretty quickly. If the Big 12 starts losing schools — Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas Tech and even Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have been mentioned in conjunction with other conferences — it could end up bringing both BYU, Utah and/or TCU into the fold.
Meanwhile, the Pac-10 could wind up being left out and without any good geographical fits. How do Fresno State, Hawaii, San Diego State or Boise State sound?
