Whittingham will limit Wynn's early throws

Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham told the media on Tuesday he expects to bring quarterback Jordan Wynn along slowly, at least during fall camp.

Whittingham said Wynn’s shoulder is “100 percent” and that he has “no limitations” on his range.

However, the coach said, “We’re going to be careful, particularly early on, to limit his throws early in camp.”

Whittingham went on to say he noticed a “big time, big spike in recruiting” after it was announced Utah would be in the Pac-12. He said right after the announcement he had seven verbal commitments from players he likely would have lost, had the Utes remained in the Mountain West.
