As I interviewed retiring Jazz director of game operations Grant Harrison, last week, he mentioned several times that Bear, the mascot, is the face of the Jazz.
“Players come and go, even owners come and go. But if someone asked me who is the face of the Jazz, I’d have to say, ‘Honestly, Bear,’” Harrison said.
He went on to say that in the past, polls would show John Stockton, Karl Malone and Jeff Hornacek were the team’s most popular figures, but Bear was right behind. He said that nowadays Bear is the team’s favorite.
In that light, I’d like to conduct my own poll.
